Sensory WordsSensory words are descriptive words applying to the senses such as touch, sound, sight, taste, and smell. These words pertain to how things feel, the sounds around you, the things you see, how things taste, and the things you smell.

Her raven black hair, still dripping after the shower, left a cascade of water spots trickling down the back of her white t-shirt.

  1. Hey I like the way you used the words cascade and trickling I don't think I would have ever thought of using those words in my sensory language writing.
